Mentorship is at the heart of Arhitekton: ongoing support in developing architectural thinking and practice—from vocational secondary school, through university studies and into the early years of professional practice.
A vocational secondary school provides an important foundation: it teaches students how to turn an idea into a drawing that others can read and develop. That professional literacy follows them to university and into practice. The same foundation matters to architecture and interior design students alike: a house cannot be divided into two separate worlds.
Lessons and exam preparation provide the knowledge needed at a particular moment; mentorship connects that knowledge and helps it grow into an independent way of working. You know how to solve a task when you can tell, explain and justify how you would solve it—and you understand a problem when you know how to frame it.
